Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I clicked on this because only yesterday I was fantasising about the amazing pasta I ate in Rome a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when the same restaurant pops up!!!! We were staying in an Airbnb just up the road and had the same moment that Kara did of going ‘oooh that looks nice’ and the pasta. Just wow. You’ve genuinely just made my day.

Being able to skip the line was such an amazing part of our trip when we went there!! Our group got to go to the Sistine Chapel after hours, and our group was the only group there! We were speechless!!

Rome is truly captivating.😍 Everywhere you look is bursting with history and beauty. We visited the city during Spring as part of our DIY EUROTRIP vlog. The entire city is rich with art, sculpture and architecture. 🤩🤩🤩 Its like walking inside a huge museum. ❤️❤️❤️

So glad to see the restoration is done on the colosseum! When we were there in April of '15 it was still partially covered so it was tough to get a nice shot of it. Now we can go back! Great stuff as always.

Just ran across your channel about a month ago and have been slowly making my way through the whole series ever since. As I was watching this video and you guys walking down the street towards the restaurant after touring the colosseum I could help but be like "I've been on that street! You have definitely made me want to go back to Italy today!

My wife and I stayed at a nice apartment by Piazza Navona and absolutely loved it. Rome was extremely cheaper than what I originally thought, we bought all our tickets in advance and everything was very affordable IMO. I enjoyed the Vatican more than the Colosseum but it’s just something you have to see. I can’t wait to go back!

I went to the Roman Forum last July and almost got heatstroke so I remember none of the history! Agree that Rome pasta is the best I've ever eaten. So delicious!

We did a tour when we visited. we used "walks of Italy" loved the tour. we all had headsets and it was really cool. wear comfortable shoes... there is a ton of walking.

What you think was simple bacon on the carbonara pasta is infact Guanciale di maiale.. Same animal derivat but is pork cheek not bacon.. Glad you enjoyed it so much!
