I have built a couple of Chinese boats, Halcon and America and found that the sails are under size. Rescaled them from photos and made new ones from an old white cotton shirt. I soak the material in a solution of pva glue and wood stain. this gives some stiffness and stops the edges fraying.i am about to start my third ship and expect it to be presentable.the first two were educational.😀
