Manor Lords Early Access Review - The Final Verdict

For what early access has to offer, it's worth trying, especially with its different scenario objectives, ranging from peaceful to outright domination and difficulty sliders to customize your experience.

Whether or not it caters to others' expectations and offers this sweeping medieval playground or a peaceful city-builder that makes you ponder each decision carefully, Manor Lords is an all-around solid title. Albeit one that needs more time to grow, yet equipped with its own charm and engaging gameplay loop right out of the gate.

This game is addictive, but it needs some UI updates asap. You need more information about what is going on in your village. There also needs to be some more diplomacy, and fortifications that you can assign men to to create a seige situation. If you are going to send a company of soldiers that's going to get there before I even get a harvest in and have more than 30 families, I need protection lol.

Thanks for the video. Was on the fence between Manor Lords and another city builder game..Manor Lords looks like a good base but not enough for me at the moment. Can't wait to see this game further down the road though!

Getting r*p3d in the old days was common place so you are supposed to adapt. Don’t allow your guys to just randomly head out into Borg-Land. Fun game.
