I have a Muslim friend who does not wish us on any Hindu festival, even though we do on Eid. So, out of curiosity, I once asked my Muslim friend why he doesn't wish us! I was surprised to hear his response, in which he stated that they are not permitted to make wishes to infidels during any festival. It was heartbreaking to hear, because we were never taught anything like this in our religion or in our family. I realised the difference ! and how fortunate I am not to have grown up with hatred for any religion or its adherents in my heart. In addition, they call our gods and goddesses the Jinns. We have never been taught to show such hatred and disrespect to people of any religion and their beliefs, this is truly heartbreaking.

Edit: Now he is not my friend anymore. His toxic attitude and attempts to convert me forced me to break my friendship with him.
