I like how you teach things clearly and don't fluff it up. You're just straight to the point and I love that!

Thank you so much for mentioning high altitude differences for canning. It’s so important and a lot of people probably don’t think about it!

Thank you so much for sharing correct and safe canning methods! I’ve been canning for decades and I get so frustrated seeing unsafe methods still being passed around.

You nailed it - all steps outlined perfectly. Thanks for providing an accurate recap of pressure canning. There are so many out there that give incorrect information.

Back in middle school Home Economics class, we learned the basics of canning. I remember being scared of botulism and exploding jars. We made apple jelly which was fun, but I’ve never had the nerve to try this on my own. You make it seem doable. One day, once I have the equipment and my own garden!

Growing your own food and canning is a lost art. My family didn’t do it growing up and neither did my grandparents but my husbands parents and grandparents all did and do, I’ve learned a lot from them but sometimes I need processes explained differently or multiple times and these videos really help. 2 summers ago I invested in building my garden beds and boxes and in canning equipment and even though it was an investment I hadn’t really ever saw myself doing… now I think it is so worth it, especially with inflation etc. My mother in law has gifted me a lot of her seeds and things too.

I've seen canning videos that were supposed to be informative but I learned a lot more just from watching this video. You should do a canning series!
