The first example is fine but i would like to mention that bank servers use https protocol and the data is already encrypted when it passes through the public internet to the bank server

B technically isn't the right answer, you have to connect to a network (which will connect you to the ISP first) THEN you have to use the VPN Client to then connect.. VPN software can't connect you to your WiFi, you have to manually connect to your WiFi first then initiate the VPN. Not sure how i can be wrong but if someone can enlighten me why B is still the answer and not A, please do.

(If your laptop is not connected to your Wi-Fi network yet, you won't be able to use your VPN service to automatically connect to the Wi-Fi for you. VPNs are typically designed to encrypt your internet traffic once you are connected to a network, rather than handling the network connection itself.)

There is no correct answer, but if forced to give one it would be B and D.
The tunnel is entered(encrypted) at the client and exited(decrypted) at the VPN server. So it exists on both sides of the ISP and also inside the ISP. As your illustration (3:22) shows. Since the tunnel simply represents the encryption system VPNs use.
