Massive amounts of money on engagement rings only to never actually get married. Something seems extraordinarily stupid about this. None of these are rings that easily wearable for daily life either. It's all such a waste.

Curious question: in my culture engagement rings are not really taking a huge part in that whole marriage process, whats the purpose of them? Arent you replace them after some month with a marriage ring anyway? What do you do with the engagement rings, after the ceremony?

I wouldnt say the ring has really gotten better each time. Its literally a huge dimond or gem with a slim band. That has little to no detail. Tbh the 2nd engagement ring is the best looking. My main thing is that 2/3 rings were really just about the size of the dimond/gem. The simplicity is just not my thing. Everyone has different preferences.

I think the heart was the most original. I’ve never seen anyone in real life have a heart diamond engagement ring. It’s very sweet. And their initials were extra sweet.

I’ve worn mine for 6 years now and it still looks beautiful.. I will admit it has diamonds on the sides, but it has a big opal in the center. I love my ring and it hasn’t gotten bad or nothing like that. I also take my jewelry off when I shower and go to sleep.
