Unpopular opinion, but if someone proposes to me in the future, I don't want a ring like these standard ones with a big flashy stone on top.

I'd rather have a ring where the stone(s) costs less and instead have a more intricate and personalised design on the band. (Also, I really don't like when rings stick out too much from my finger and it gets caught in everything)
