The resin looks like the unused crystallized honey texture imo

(Also resin was in April fools update)

A quick detail you glossed over that I've consistently taken issue with regarding the pale garden is the creepers. It truly feels like it goes against the quiet creepiness of the biome when you're being assaulted by spawns that aren't the creaking itself. I wish it had some sort of modified spawn system or something since in my experience it just plays like any other biome at night (which is when it really matters because of the creaking)

I’m not gonna lie with this new mob, I kinda want it to be hostile to everything that’s in the pale garden. As like a guardian that doesn’t care what you are, it must protect the garden.

I actually like how the creaking doesn’t drop anything and that the resins act as the drop. Because I find it way creepier for it to crumble apart and disappear rather than crumble apart and drop something.

One of my favorite features of the flowers is that the closed flower is now a direct source of Grey Dye

6:18 can you hear that? somewhere far away, MudFlaps is sobbing because he has to add 300 more pieces of armor to his collection

You missed it because you had night vision, but the eyeblossom texture “glows” like the creaking’s eyes. The idea is that it’s supposed to help camouflage the creaking even when it looks at you

Would be cool if they added amber which is essentially really old resin. Like if there were pockets of amber underground with the rare chance of one having fossilized allay/vex/silverfish.

Maybe cooking resin or crafting with honey to make a translucent block.

Resin looks so much like it's made of lava. Nether builds are gonna go crazy over this

yeah the past couple of days have proven to me that you're the best update review guy. it's crazy to me how Wattle's video is like 30 minutes or something and you still told me about stuff he didn't cover

I predict someone’s gonna play Bad Apple with the eyeblossoms’ two states

6:10 that's been a glitch in the game for years, except it's been a different item in previous versions. Like it's been leather armor and chainmail armor, still hasn't been the iron axe it's supposed to be

Wow the resin clump working like glow lichen is incredible, fingers crossed they add more things like it!

My first thought when seeing resin on the ground was leaves. It looks like fallen autumn leaves, so it’ll be perfect for any kind of Halloween / Autumn themed build :D

Im glad they've added new features to make the new biome valuable. Initially it was just a place to get a new woodtype and new coloured moss but now that creekings can be farmed for something, theyre gonna be sought after. And the flowers look so cool

Don't you think its about time they make Prismarine color Armor Trims since we got Resin which adds middle ground between Copper and Gold, so a Prismarine could act as a middle ground between Emerald and Diamond.

For me feature wise, the Pale Garden is now complete,

10:00 they’re not taking damage because the poison keeps you at 1hp. Maybe natural regeneration for the bees?

The resin block family looks an awful lot like the gravitater and taterstone blocks from this year's April Fools snapshot. That snapshot had resin too; thank heavens in this game you don't have to refine it using 10 daisy-chained fletching table to make it usable!

I wish the creaking trees would be immune to fire. It would be the only overworld logtype to be immune to fire, and would add another reason to go to this biome early-game if you haven't been to the nether yet.

I agree with having more stuff being able to be placed on blocks for some texturing. Honey and Slime are the obvious ones that coudl get added easily. At least slimeballs, for honey we would need some new form of it since all of them can be used right now, while slimeballs don't have a use (use = right click).

Also small hickup on the which creaking avoids damaging blocks. Natural spawned will no longer avoid them, while manually spawned now will.
