My daughter graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2019. Her now husband stayed another year at BGSU to get his masters. Long story short their careers took them to Atlanta. Last year they were both 25 and bought their first house. The APR is so high right now. the place you are renting is adorbs and since you know the owners I would wait another year when the APR goes down. Just my opinion plus gives you another full year to save more money for the down payment. I was that weird old lady that met you at the Beach Water Park in Cincinnati Ohio like 5 years ago and asked for your pic haha. I am proud of you Asha

it would be wise hire a inspector approved by the better business bureau to inspect the place from the ground up, watch close to windows, cracks in wood, look at the a/c and duck work, look at the level of the ground and how much vent work is in the roof ask a school professer to go and look if you have to one that teach building codes and inspections and contructions, best of luck, also you have to remember upkeep and taxes and all that good stuff.also look for cracks in the sheetrock and cabinetts, the first house in the closet the ceiling room like it had a hump in it i would look at that. truth is i didn't like either house.

You're more complaining about the second house. Certain things you said simply can't be considered in such ways as you said. When you said you don't like the area, it made sense. This means you essentially disrespected the house due to its location. Just one perfect example, is... Complaining about a paint chip that didn't show in the picture(s) online.
Disrespecting a house due to its location is equivalent to disrespecting a person because of their, ethnicity.
