I cannot do this as the current edition of latest Linux mint Vanessa doesn't accept the password needed to do anything . I am without administrative rights in reality because the password is not accepted and also cannot be changed as the password to do so is rejected. Neither can you boot into root . terminal does not accept password and any file you try to change will not be changed as cannot accept password, you know the one you login with. Will need to delte and lose all work again! POOR SHOW LINUX
