We do chanting of god when in danger. That's because we are programmed this way by our parents and society.
A "3 years old children" will not bring "God" and chant when he is in danger.

My mom used to throw coins in every river while we were travelling. She would say it prevents road accidents. I believed it and started doing it without even thinking about it. Then, one day, I stopped doing this. I felt free not having to think about offering coins to rivers otherwise there will be a road accident.

I was very curious about God from childhood, every now and then I used to test if God exists or not for the silliest reason. As I grew up, I started praying to that ultimate unknown power which I believed, slowly I even came out from that, not sure when, but yes I used to question everything around happening. And understood most of the time people pray not because they love God, because they fear God. For example if they don't do fasting for God or do pooja, God might curse their family, something bad might happen.
Now even my mind is in turmoil situations, I do not pray. I try to analyse and think for a solution or calling to my best friend.

Well I am a very hardcore but we need more atheist like him. Because this nation needs proper Tark Vitark in order to seek the truth. After all what's the use supporting whether it exist or not. Rather I really love this guy and how he logically questioned the existence and I greatly appreciate that

I agree with what you say. Whatever works. I find consolation and peace in the Universe which I believe in and you find consolation and peace in people. Works either way. It was nice coming across this video.
