Sold every important book in my collection for an All Star Comics 8, Amazing Fantasy 15 and a……….

Don’t regret it at all. Honestly, I would trade or sell my entire comic book collection for 1 book. Like a captain America 1, Superman 1 etc etc.

Hey Kreston well I finally bit the bullet and grabbed my gravy train Superman #1 low grade. Sold my Af 15 in order to get me the Grail I longed for forever.. This was a video most comic investors/collectors need to watch. Great post again

My brother growing up collected every Superman comic book! This is back from 60s-80s the stack was 4-5 feet tall if we touched them he would do Mohamad Ali on use🤣🤣🤣float like a butterfly sting like a bee🤣🤣
He still has them he's in his late 60s now! My other brother has all the baseball cards!

Great books. It can be nerve racking going to battle at auction. Sometimes you are better off not putting all your eggs in one basket (or comic).

Keston 👋🏽 I have considered selling the farm for one book, perhaps - maybe a low grade Tec 27 or an OCT Marvel 1. But, I dunno if I could do it. An OA Kirby page from FF4 or 6 would also be tempting - FF4 pages have never been seen as they are likely long trashed or given away. FF6 pages do exist (I’m told) and have been locked down for years. I would consider owning a Tec 27 instead of a 31, but I would not like parting with many of my core books in my vault. Over the years I have owned FIVE different copies of ASM 1, but TRADED them all for X-Men to build that collection. But back in 2015 I had a break-in and the majority of my key books were stolen from me (over 2k books, including my X-Men 1, 2, Hulk 181, ASM 41, 129, Superman 20, Marvel Mystery 11 (Schomburg cover), and a HOST of others. All gone to the wind now... So, haven't traded a lot for one book, but traded one book for a lot - does that count??
