Review: Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone

While the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone ismaller package then others being offered today as part of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE lineup it takes no backset when it comes to speed and power.

Windows phones have been taking a bad rap and a lot of people, including me, have begun to figure that out. Don;t ger me wrong, Windows phones are not for everyone. Windows phones are for those people who need to be in control of their time and need to get things done. Unlike some other Samrtphone operating systems that's always buzzing, ringing or vibrating a Windows phone let's you do what you need to on your schedule.

Windows Operating System: It's Wonderful.

Personally I have found the Windows operating system to be more user friendly than some other operating systems on the market today.

Battery Life:

Battery life has been superb. I have been able to get through one of my 8-12 hour days without any problems. Not everyone will experience the same battery life on any phone. It will all depend on use and what apps you have running on your phone.

I really like the idea of easily being about too set uo different user groups with the Windows Smartphones.

Cheap Smartphones

I watched a review a while back in which the person said that the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone was cheaply built. That I take issue with. What he was talking about was the rear cover of the phone. He complined that is was made of thin plastic. Let me tell you, I had the cover off of a much higher priced phone and guess what? I was basically made of the same material as the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone.
Biased Reviews:

The reviews I like and the reviews I use are from people like you and I. There are a lot of people doing YouTube reviews and many of those can be biased for one reason or other. When I watch a review made by a product manufature it is only to see what's available.

Facebook App

One thing I was a bit surprised about was the lack of a Facebook Fan Page app for Windows Smartphnes given that Facebook and Microsoft are s0mewhat partering up in some other areas. There may be some 3rd party apps on the that will let you manage your Facebook page but I suggest caution if you dedcide to add them to your Windows phone.
