Hyperloop is a depressurized tube where magnetic-levitating trains can run at supersonic speed in no air, meaning no friction. You said it’s pressurized and it’s not. You might want to look into that.

This video was a little pessimistic. Also, the 100mph Hyperloop speed was a 10 second test. They would fly off the track trying to go faster. :/

Elon is inspirational, he gets countless people interested in engineering and a greener future.
His goals might be a bit outlandish, but he has renewed interest in those fields.
So that interest sticks around he puts his fortune up as collateral, this gets him big contracts.
Yeah Jeff Bezos does the same, but we all know Bezos wants the potential profits.
Elon he doesn't care about the money, so it gives engineers and scientists real viable options.
It's why SPACE X works.

Hyperloop is not a compressed air system, it isn't propelled by air. It is a near vacuum evacuated tube and air is not used to propel the pods, linear induction motors are. Overheating of the pods is a potential challenge, with very little air to reject heat into, heat could build up in the pod. But there isn't that much energy going into the pod, the only energy added is from the motors, which only need to be strong enough to counteract what little air resistance remains at the near vacuum condition, and the energy being metabolized by the passengers digestive system, and a little bit from the phones/computers and lights inside the pod. It isn't nothing, but it is far from insurmountable. And it is pretty silly to say that a hyperloop can't go faster than a plane or a train, that is like saying airplanes can't beat cars or trains because the Wright Flyer only went 30 mph. Whether the economics ever work out is the tough question, but taking the air out of a tube and pushing stuff down it with electromagnets is definitely doable.

Maybe you should figure out what the proposed technology actually is before producing such utter drivel.
