Rhubarb is related directly to Buckwheat. In older languages such as Estonian and Finnish Buckwheat is called "Tatari" no coincidence that its close to the Tataria word if you connect it with Rhubarb and the references to it made in the map.

I am a certified historian at University of Zurich (MA) and studied quite a bit of ancient history.

I have written a lengthy scientific thesis on the ancient greek myths on those eastern 'dog kingdoms'. extremely fascinating accounts. so many sources report the exact same things: 'dog-people' living in modern day india. those people allegedly were 'very just and righteuos'. they did not hunt but only drank milk from their cattle, consuming nothing else. they were also said to have been great archers, often sending troops to help the indian kings when they were facing enemy invaders. very, very fascinating stories. this was one of the most interesting topics i ever researched back in the day as a young and learning historian.
