The marked up prices are crazy lol. OP01 will eventually get reprinted just like in Asia. If you're selling OP01 singles, you want to sell now before reprint

Scalpers are bad, but what’s even worse are game stores that are trying to make the same profit by overpricing goods - sucks that it happens in all tcg games

its STILL like this - besides maybe getting your hands on a black structure deck. However you need a LOT of OP-02 cards to make it playable

i love how in hong kong the op01 boxes are 68 usd and op08 are 35 usd and prb01 boosters are 4 usd and op08 boosters are 1.3 usd

Only like 3 people play one piece at my locals. They even tried giving away one piece structure decks for people who won our yugioh locals 😂

The same happened to me at my LGS. I should've bought a case of boosters when the 1st set released for like $70-80 a box. I didn't think the game was gonna last tbh. But, After playing it recently and experiencing how well designed it is and fun to play, I realized I made a gross misjudgment.

You want to invest in the BLUE BOTTOM OP1 booster box. Those are the most rare and will be worth a fortune, and cannot be reprinted. The blue bottom was the first print ever and they fixed the issues and rereleased it with a white bottom. The blue bottom is now selling for over $1, 000. I have one and will keep it sealed for YEARS.

Same with any other tcg i just stopped buying them. 350 bucks for a box of cardboard wrapped in foil is wild

Not going to lie I agree with the sentiment of this video.
. My ability to get any of the next two box sets are pretty much going to determine whether I keep attempting to play the game competitively or if I'm only going to just keep it as a fun game to play with my daughters and friends only
