I'm not yet an a6700 owner, but this was very comprehensive and I have obviously saved it for future reference. Can you share a bit more about your experience regarding overheating, especially during video work. Because that's a limiting factor for me so far, regarding a purchase, especially as I live on an Aegean island

hi thanks for the video, I would like to ask you why you recommend the Tamron 17-70 and then in your setup you use a Sony lens? (18-105)?

Hey mate, thanks again i just got my a6700 ! You helped me a lot with your setup! Only one more thing, can you recommend an SD Card? Does it have to be a v90 or is v60 enough?

Heya, love the video 👍
Just wanted to comment on your interpretations of the 180 degree rule.

The 180 degree rule is not related to the cameras shutter speed or shutter angle (although on a film camera you’d typically set the shutter angle at 180 degrees) but related to two characters or a character and an object. I’m sure you know this better than I do but if a character within your film is engaged with another character or object it is important that the scene (with exception) is filmed from the same side as it started, essentially don’t cross over the actors shoulders, stay on one side of them (ideally shadow side ;). and all will be good.

There are many examples of this rule being broken and working well but it has a habit of causing confusion in the audience on positioning within the scene, so stick to the 180 degree rule and have fun filming :)

Thanks for the video man! Looking forward to upgrade to the a6700 from my good old a6000. The only thing im worried about is if my laptop(dell xps15) can handle the high video quality of the a6700...

Thank you so much. Can you help me with this question. We copied all of your suggestions to the A6700 camera. Now we are recording some footage in Thailand and next week in the Philippines. When we look back on the footage from Thailand all the shots that were created in daylight are almost completely white (24fps 1/50) when we increase the shutter speed the scenery will appear. And when recording in night the artificial lights are flickering, so the whole image is flickering as well. Can you help with a solution?
