Anu-Enlil-Enki are like Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva. Enki came to the earth along with Apkallu or seven sages. You can see Shiva and seven sages in the picture below like Enki and his seven sages.Vishnu is Enlil. Vishnu is shown in the sleeping posture. Enlil’s sleep being disturbed is mentioned in the story. Shiva is Enki. Shiva’s wife is “daughter of the mountain” and Enki wife is “lady of the mountain.” Shiva’s daughter is Ashoka Sundari/Aranyani (goddess of forests). Enki’s daughter is lady greenery. Inanna is Lakshmi. Both Inanna and Lakshmi has eight pointed star. Inanna is also associated with Aphrodite. Both Aphrodite and Lakshmi rises from the ocean. Statue of Pompeii Lakshmi found in Rome is similar to representation of Aphrodite. Athena is Saraswati. Hera and Parvati are similar, the goddesses of family life. Ninurta is Indra. We can see the image of Ninurta chasing the bird monster with his thunderbolt like Indra chased Garuda with his thunderbolt.

If memory serves, the Annunaki or “Annakim”, were descendants from the Nephilim, who were themselves the offspring of fallen angels, otherwise known as demons who “fell from Heaven” (hence “sky-people”) and impregnated human women, corrupting their DNA (genetically modifying) and creating a race of giants. The Rephaim were another race of giants that were also descendants of the Nephilim and were somehow related to the Annakim.

There are many different sites depicting seven great men in their local language. I believe it the same group that the Sumerians called Annunnaki. Indian history tells us about Saptarshis meaning 7 sages and the constellation of Ursa Major is described as Saptarshi Mandal. Due to this Sumerians may have named them Annunnaki meaning Sky people.

More likely the giant Annunaki were angels who were sent by God to teach and help men. However, they fell into pride and sin, and copulated with women. The giant offspring were the giants of old; half human, half angelic. The giants could have been taught many things by their angelic fathers, and had inherited strength and might from them. Yet, the giants inherited mortality from their human mothers.
