This is what president Nelson meant when he said we must be influenced by Christ in general conference. If we allow ourselves to be influenced by the many talking political heads on both sides, we will never see common ground, this podcast is amazing, thank you so much brother!

Providing scholarships to higher education is just introducing people to critical race theory. Institutions of higher learning are notorious for pushing and advocating for critical race theory. I would think helping people get into fields of service industries and technical industries would be a far better way to spend that money. Universities are way overrated. They are almost antiquated.

Russell M. Nelson is a man of God and as such offered a solution given by revelation not guilt, love not hate, sameness not difference. Let’s pray the critical race theory will die a quick death and we as a nation, a people, a church can move forward together.

I was so touched by this press conference and to see true Christ like love on display for all to witness. I could see in President Nelson's face his love for all of our brothers of another mother. I saw it and I felt it and have no doubt the windows of heaven were open.
I loved the recap you presented here, brought me to tears. Finally some hope of healing for this country.

I'm sorry to be skeptical, but while the NAACP was started on good principles, many of it's members do embrace CRT and the organization itself has engaged in quite a bit of ethically questionable behavior. They have been running what amounts to a race extortion racket for decades. "Give us money or we will call you out as racists." Would the NAACP be so friendly and kind toward the Church if they weren't forking over millions of dollars? Probably not. But the Church does get something for their money, which is cover in a hyper racist social environment. So maybe it is a good decision, but I do worry that they are making a deal with the devil.

We’ll said! So proud of this Christ-like approach by our leaders.

Wow. Thank you for pointing these things out!
It reminds me of when President Nelson said something to the extent of we will see that Jesus Christ is the head of this church, and that mighty miracles were on the cusp. This was a miracle in the worlds current environment of politics.
And a pure example of true charity on both sides.

Scholarships to go to college…and learn CRT. I’m a bit hesitant. Given that academics is the source of a lot of this, is feeding the beast a good idea? Can we specify that it’s for science and engineering majors only?

I used to live in an area where I saw what blacks have to go through and I truly felt so sorry for them. Many are so noble in the way they handle life. Jobs were so hard for them to find. God bless everyone to treat each race with dignity, love, and respect.

You brought me to tears. What a refreshing change to the divisive hate growing like wildfire almost everywhere we look.

This reminds me of the great Nehemiah who said, "Let us rise up and build."

"Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again. We will see miraculous indications that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, preside over this Church in majesty and glory." President Nelson April 2018.

Thank you so much for this. I was also touched as our church joined with the Black 14 Philanthropy in 2020 to assist underserved communities. Mel Hamilton, a member of that group and this partnership was a long time member of our community in Casper, WY, working in the schools here. It was such a wonderful thing to see that those deep and troubling times have come away these decades later with healing and a love of coming together to help and serve our brothers and sisters who are in true need. I remember President Hinckley's address to the National Press Club in March 2000, where he enumerated the many ways our church humanitarian efforts serve throughout the world, often unnoticed by the world. I'm thankful to know that we have inspired leaders who are doing what they can to bring peace and safety and freedom to the people of this world.

Thankyou Greg, love the truths that you share, you bless my life to love the Lord and rejoice that he truly is in charge and loves each of His children and is always light years ahead and His Prophets are prepared. Thank you for being so passionate about the Lord and His Way.

So incredibly amazing. I thank Thee, Oh God, for Our Prophet. Bless us Father, that we may heal and not hurt, that we may build and not break and that we may rise together as brothers and sisters, children of the One True God. I thank Three, Father, for my membership in Thy Church and for the testimony that I have been blessed with. I shed tears for this event and pray that there may be more to come.

I’m still troubled at what the NACCP said last year when they had a meeting with president Nelson, they pretty much demanded the church to pay for the damaged we caused and called president Nelson a “sweet talker”. I guess, persistence brings accomplishments. I’m truly hoping the funds help people who really need it. Loving thy neighbor is what we preach and do.

Brother Brown had Wonderful words! He was beautiful in his speech. 😊❤️
I am grateful for this positive approach. I am also humbled by Brother Brown's comparison of President Nelson and Joseph Smith. How they (Nelson and Joseph Smith) are both striving to lift and treat those who are Black, particularly those who have African ancestry, have recognition of their Worth as a fellow Child of God and Citizens of this Country who can rise above their past and contribute positivity for the Future. To lift where they stand.
Beautiful Presentations All around! 😁❤️🕊️✝️🌍🌎

In the Temple recommend interview you are asked if you support any groups that teach things counter to the teachings of the church, is that not what this is?
