This actually shows a key difference between the two characters. Hal 9000 is completely cold and calculating, but GLaDOS seems to be actively malicious. Probably a piece of Caroline still left in her code. I can’t believe this came to mind from a Lego game but here we are.

What's sad is, HAL is so naive and innocent here (to say nothing of the things he did in the film). He doesn't know where he is or even who is _not_ Dave; could his 'mind' have been scrambled? Poor HAL.

At 1:00, GladOS says a test subject number; “24051989”. I thought that sounded pretty specific, so I looked up May 24th, 1989. “Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade” premiered on that day! I don’t know if that was on purpose or a coincidence, but with LEGO’s history with Indiana Jones (sets and games), it might be an Easter Egg.

I find it funny that they put in dialogue about actually playing the game, because they knew a lot of people would just listen to the conversation.

The fact that the Lego Dimensions devs remembered that the Portal and Halflife games are set in the same universe and had GLaDOS reference Black Mesa is a sign of the attention to detail that the devs put into this game. I'm still sad this game wasn't as popular as it should have been. There was a sequel planned that I would have loved to play.
