BRITISH AIRWAYS Boeing 787-9 World Traveller! Hong Kong to London

Will the return trip to London on the Boeing 787-9 product by British Airways be any different to the Airbus A350? This was my opportunity to find out aboard this 14 hour flight back to London.

BA is always nice but people are getting bigger and taller but planes get smaller and smaller. The A 380 or the 77W with 50 seats less would be perfect for that long flight.

Oh it is the same fight attendant for my flight. I also took BA from Hong Kong to London in May 2023.

Great video again! The food looked definitely better & portion too! BA 787s need to get refurbished soon, cabin is getting a bit dated.

Thank you for sharing a nice flight. At least you were at a Lounge to get something to eat before your flight. That is always good to do. I saw the Business Class and then the first section of Premium Economy. Those two are best fir flying the long-haul flights. Did you or were there seats available in either of those cabin areas?

The way BA chooses to configure their aircraft really makes the interior look aged and dated. That IFE system was out of date even when that aircraft was delivered. It's insane that such a new aircraft has been configured with such old technology.

Airlines putting 3-3-3 seating in a cabin designed for 2-4-2 seating should be illegal. It's an extremely uncomfortable economy cabin.

Fun fact: British Airways only has two aircraft’s flying from HKG - LHR, and that is the Boeing 787 and Boeing 777

Thanks for the video! I am shocked how bad BA looks inside. The economy seat doesn't look that comfortable compared to Cathay Pacific which has extra topper/memory foam layer. That touch screen looks really old too. I don't know why people would book with BA for this route as Cathay offer more services. I just flew on Cathay on this route and it was so good. I wouldn't fly with BA to HKG even if it was free lol.
