I started dehydrating my tomatoes a couple yrs ago in slices, and they are so delicious as snacks or perfect to crumble into soups and stews etc. Plus, one can do them batch at a time as they ripen and the whole harvest fits into a few big ziplock bags!

What a BRILLIANT harvest of your tomatoes! Italian family here and if it were me...I’d be canning all day tomorrow! I absolutely LOVE fresh, homegrown tomatoes! The flavour is out of this world!! I am crazy allergic to tomatoes, but have to have fresh homegrown ones! Tomato sandwiches are divine. Fresh sliced tomatoes...YUMMY! I could sing the praises of fresh homegrown tomatoes all day. What a wonderful sense of accomplishment you must feel with your first crops being so crazy prolific! What a relief you must feel about that new land and it’s ability to produce. Your always giving me new ideas for planting. You and Aaron are such an awesome inspiration. Your and his giving spirits are such a blessing to others. We are moving to Idaho, where we’ll have lots of land to provide for ourselves and others, I can hardly wait. We live in southeast Texas now and I’m already trying to learn as much as I can about growing crops and all other forms of plants in Northern Idaho. If you have any tips I’d love to hear them♥️

I love this video. Harvesting is so rewarding and beautiful to watch. Needless to say, the videography is amazing...again! Your channel is like short stories. I so enjoy them every day. “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.” There are few consistent events that are a miracle every time but gardening. To take a hard like thing, put it in dirt, and be able to eat the harvest is one of the best miracle of nature. I remember my dad always said, “give a man a fish and he will have a good meal. Teach a man to fish and he will feed a community.” Wow. 👏🏻💕👏🏻

The experimenting on the new property is so exciting and inspirational. I love the “we’ll just try and see what happens” and laid back mentality in that area makes me want to go out in my garden and do things I’ve been putting off or am too intimidated/scared to do. And I love that you share with us what you learn from that area as you go along. Thank you!
