This is a great video. Thanks!! Our first attempt at growing carrots, we planted 750, 000 seeds in 1/2 hectare.... after 14 days, we had little plants. Then Panama rains came and washed them all to the ocean with 4 inches of water running over the farm. I love the IN BUCKET idea!!

This is by far the best way to grow carrots. I have been growing my carrots like this for years .
One tip for everyone.For the best results growing in barrels or containers. Use carrot strip seeds .

When you grow carrots,  soil should be a sandy loam; make sure it is well drained. Heavy soils cause the carrots to mature slower and the roots will end up unattractive and rough. Remember that when you grow carrots, soil should never be rocky because it leads to poor quality roots.

I have mixed carrot seeds with a couple of tablespoons of sand. This separates the seeds and you get more even distribution. Good video. Keep up the good work.
