I have to say that I'm a purist when it comes to breaking in my glove. Bend it a little bit in the creases on where your hand naturally curves in and then playing catch. Nothing else. Do you want your glove perfect for you? Play catch with the glove and use it your way then it will shape perfectly to how you use and play with it.

Store the Outfield glove with a softball to keep the bigger pocket, and really a rubber band... just don't throw your glove in your bag hold it outside the bag

Nothing but saddle soap has ever been on my mitt, and it is pristine. My dad played some pro ball and even he admires my glove.

I've heard there is so little lanolin now in barbesol that you shouldn't use it as it is a tiny amount and has mostly chemicals that make the leather brittle

I'm not gonna lie I played out field in college I used to put a ball in my glove and put it under my mattress and sleep on it and it broke in perfectly😂😂😂😂thanks for letting me know I've been wrong my whole life

I have 2 gloves settn over there right now dripping in shavin cream tied up with a ball in it with 2 socks tied around them 😂mines been setting out in a storage shed threw winters and summers. I couldn't even hardly close it, dam sure cant close it all the way.. my sons ready to play catch so I dug them out . I almost soaked them down with WD40. Because realy WD fixes everything right, just before I did I pulled this up . Thanks

How to break your glove in like a pro😂
Step one: put tooth paste on the glove ( just to make sure it’s good and dry)
Step two) turn the glove inside out
Step three) play catch ( while the glove is inside out, it helps make the glove as useless as possible)
Step four) let your dog chew on it over night
Step five) make sure to leave it in at least 6 thunder storms
Step 6) you’re done!!!😂😂
