Apologies to bother with a question, but how did the textbook find the equation of the function from question 2? I understand that there was a horizontal shift of 8 units right but I am confused about how they got the "a" value as there was no additional point given to solve for "a" by using the family of functions method. I am confused, thank you again for your time and videos!
