I always laugh out loud at least twice in your videos! Such an excellent blend of quality humor sprinkled in with quality content.

Please don’t ever stop with the pithy tone of your videos; it’s just so awesome.

T-Hangers are very rare here in the EU. We have Hangers with a giant disc in the center that can rotate and can park high- and low-wing aircraft alternately. It saves a lot of space! The drawback is that we dont get a personal space i guess

Im in the UK and have yet to see a T hangar. I have deliberated as to why this is and some might say that its because there are fewer planes, rarely have extreme weather, less space, horizontal drizzle blah blah. However, my belief is that as a nation that we take enormous pleasure in moaning about everything, thus having the opportunity to move 5-6 aircraft of varying weights and sizes to get your trusty flying machine from the back, then shoe horn it back in at the end of the day, gives us the perfect opportunity to moan. Glorious.

Love it
I’d add that the SR22 is high performance and has a higher stall speed. DA50 glides down at a much slower rate than a SR22 even with parachute deployed

In Poland most hangars fit a 18m gliders and often an AN2

As someone who has cruised in an unpressurized piston single at 20, 000 feet, there is some weather which can be avoided just slightly higher. Also higher is more badass. That was in a 1980 Mooney btw, DA50 RG service ceiling is somewhat disappointing.

Nice video. I noticed an error though. The cost per hour at 200 hours per year seems to represent the fixed costs only. I believe it should be $329 vs. the $195 currently shown.

My understand is that the $150, 000 engine needs to be replaced at 2000 hours. So your engine reserve would be $75/hr in round numbers.

The CD300 engine is actually a TBR not TBO which is why there is no real world overhaul figures on it.

As always an amazing video. Unfortunately I don't have money to afford not even a piper cub but if I had i would probably still buying a DA50, because i'm dumb? yeah also, but also because I like diamond aircraft, the design fascinates me😅 I'm not here to be smart, I'm here because I like it lol😂

"Hugh Jass Wings"? fantastic. I'll need to have Hugh-Jass-Ackman money to even contemplate this bird. Great video as always. Thanks for the laughs.

Hey. From Europe here (Belgium). From all the airfields I went (until now), no T hangars here

for the most part in europe and here in the uk you either have the capital to rent or by your own full size hanger (if you the ask the MOD (uk DOD) nicely you and some friends can purchase a full size cold war hanger) or if you done have milions spare you buy a plane cover and store it outsize. tho with a dimond its probaly the former

Rather have the DA50RG over the Cirrus

On this side of the pond we usually have big ass Hangars and therefore you don't get to have your own man cave (or woman cave, but we shouldn't say that). So you cram all the airplanes together on the same floor, make sure they're not smashing each others navlights and then you shut the door. If the Hangar is high enough, you may also hang your expensive aircraft from the ceiling, almost doubling available space. So you see, depending on what is stored there already, a DA50 might not be a big deal to put in. But yeah, I'd also prefer a T-Hangar, thanks.

Hey man I love your videos! Do you reckon you could do one on the lanceair evolution planes? Would be really interesting to see how they stack up with each other and the competition
