I agree with everything in this video except the claim that sugar gliders are extremely intelligent. They're not. Whenever I would play chess with mine, he would often fall for traps in common openings or blunder his queen before the 15th move.

So basically in short sugar gliders are nothing but sweet hearts.

The question shouldn't be " What is a Sugar Glider? " . It should be " Why haven't I heard of a Sugar Glider and where can I get one?"
Awesome little things 👍🏻😋

For those of you that insist on bringing your chicken, pig or small pony on a plane as your emotional support animal, please consider the sugar glider.

Looking after any pet will always be expensive, sometimes even thousands, I mean most of that is because of the Solid Gold Crown you must buy your pet, plus the caviar for their food, and the water sourced directly from the north pole... it's just a mystery how they naturally find these things in the wild :)

Edit: just to clarify, this comment is sarcastic, the most expensive pet I ever had was my German Shepard and he'd eat anything you put in front of him.

Remember. Never get only one sugar glider. Always get at least 2 or more or they will get anxiety and develop emotional problems.

Theirs only a few things in this video word wise. However the cage set is dangerous for girders. The vine has killed SEVERAL glifers and anything besides anti pill fleece isn't recommended because gliders are nibblers. The fibers of that material will get caught in their toes and teeth and HAS AND DOES kill gliders! Company advertise these as glider safe because it's another animal to profit off of. But in the glider community theirs a lot of info not put in this video. Just because it hasn't doesn't mean it won't and the fabric in other materials bleeds and acts as a toxin to gliders. Everything else I love! Jagoh! Great job!

A few things they did not mention in the video.
1. Sugar gliders are mostly nocturnal and will be active during the night time hours.
2. They make the most adorable mad sounds. It literally sounds like a miniature chainsaw, anyone who has had this can confirm that.
3. Companionship is absolutely necessary, do not get just one sugar glider as it can actually lead to them dying from depression and mental issues.

They have the most adorable little faces! One thing I strongly have to disagree on is that certain rodents - rats, to be specific - form a very close bond to their humans, just like dogs. They're almost perfect pets, except for their short lifespan. An equally affectionate small pet with such a long lifespan sounds like an absolute dream to me.

I’ve seen them in pics with their owner. They are so adorable. If I didn’t have a kitty, I would want to get a couple. Thanks for the video. Helps me learn a little more about them.

Let me guess: the dislikes for this video all came from mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters and ferrets.
