@FluentForever These links are currently broken - unable to download on to any of several of my devices. I really think you have the best deck setup, and I've been unable to download a new copy of the model deck to use :(

The method looks great but trying to get to the point where you can use flash cards is painful. I'm stalled because I need slightly different cards for Japanese according to the video but I can't find that page.

I think it would be a bit more clear if the cards says "press the ! key on your keyboard", instead of "press the ! exclamation button"    I looked for a button on the screen to push with my mouse, kept mouse clicking on the blue brackets and exclamation mark on the card, and wondered why nothing was happening.   I though something was broken until I watched this video :P

You say to check the link Modifications for Chinese/Japanese but that doesn't exist on the web page you reference in the tutorial.

I purchased the book in part to figure out Anki for language learning. Is the sample deck still available somewhere?

Ran into an issue on Anki after hitting "!" 3 times, it made this message: Back template has a problem:
Found '⁨{{#Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)}}⁩', but there is no field called '⁨Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)⁩'

Is this something you can fix in the deck before or after the download or what's happening here?

So if you suspend the five cards from the Deck Browser, that doesn't do the downloading you're referring to?

i cant download the model deck
i am using mac and it immediately closes when i click on it

Everytime i add a sound and try it on my new card i hear the recording twice. why?

You said that modifications are needed for Japanese and Chinese. But most of the other languages don't need that. I am beginning Korean. Does that need modification?
