I've got both. Android is the more user friendly.

My mobile spends 98% of it's time sitting on a shelf in the kitchen, mostly uncharged...

It works the other way to. I use Samsung, using Apple makes me annoyed.

I attempted to use a Mac recently and it was a traumatic experience 😂

Android is actually better and more user-friendly and that’s what I would go with if I bought my own phone. The only reason I have an iPhone is because I ended up with a company phone that I got to keep from my old job so I’ve been keeping this ever since, but if I ever have to buy a phone out of pocket in the future, it would be all the way

On the BMJ/BMA forums there is a tread that been running 10+ years now and have 1, 000s of messages in the tread - it goes along the lines - addicted to my iPhone

I experienced that when I went from having IPhone from when they came out til 2016 and when I got a galaxy it was the little differences that messed me up I'd go to hit certain button and it's on the bottom instead of top or whatever but also now when I handle someone's iphone it's the same 😂

iPhone iOS = XBox controller

Android = PlayStation controller

Same games but switching between controllers is a problem for some people.

I switched from android to iOS and I fucking hate it. Can’t wait until this phone craps out (which it will soon because it’s an iPhone) so I can switch back.

Like learning to ride a bike as a kid, and then you try a different bike, and it feels weird.

Nothing new about this particular topic. Simply put, we are creatures of habit in most things, and mostly predictable too, under normal circumstances. And the older we get, the less we want to change those habits. As for the iphone, was given one as a xmas gift by a client (would never buy one, even if I was wealthy, it's ridiculously overpriced), was familiar with most of its workings within a week, and after about a month, gave it to my daughter and went back to my Samsung 👍.
