Fake Code Books

Be careful if you find a great deal on a new code book from online retailers other than ICC. I have never had an ICC-printed book fall apart, but I have had two fakes fall apart this year.

Dang! Thanks for posting! I had no idea there were fakes codes being printed & sold! And on Amazon no less! But hey, you can still salvage them with a 3 hole punch and a binder! I always buy loose leaf and started with the PDF collection last year also. I prefer the loose leaf version with turbo tabs, its easier for me to navigate and also I can take out pages to copy for customers (yes yes I know 'copyright' but sometimes a page is very helpful to send with a homeowner). Now the holes ripping out and needing repair is another thing....but I keep a nice supply of sticky reinforcements! Again, thanks for sharing, I had no idea!
