Yang mentioned the US only at 1:45. He did not mention the "western world". Sad that Bloomberg added some salt into his words.

the biggest bully of the world is accusing its potential competitor 'being assertive". that is really funny.

the US actually asked the media to leave the room after they played tough to China But Yang asked them "Why are you so afraid of the media being here" and let the media stay for China's tough responses

The problem is China don’t accept modern day Babylon tradition within their country. Can’t throw a rock living in a glass house. It’s all about respect and not trying to push YOUR ideologies on others. We all can coexist

at @, Yang said, 美国不代表国际舆论,period. He mentioned the US only. Why did Bloomberg added the "western world" into his words?

No, the heated exchange aren't "soundbites meant for domestic audience". The US actually tried to rally support from Japan and Korea just days before the meetup, and still imposed sanctions a day before the meeting to set the tone of the meeting...Check out other media channels across Asia, and the general consensus is that the US got out of the meeting looking weak and schooled.

Bloomberg is exasperating this, it was not as bad as they are reporting.

whoever in the state department planned this session needs to be fired. broke so many norms: over run of the first speech, added the 2nd period without giving the other side the opportunity to respond, and tried to get rid of the reporters. almost amateurish.

The American translator made herself the focal point. The colors of her hair and suit are dramatic.

Blinker tell Chinese delegates that he speaks from position of strength, how do you think the Chinese delegation will take that? It basically gives the Chinese no choice but to fight back....

I don’t think CCP will get anything successful in this talk. US govt knows well this time.

You would be fed up too if 1) having listened to all these accusations and lies (or maybe 1/3 truth and 2/3 lies); 2) remembering this year is Chinese 辛丑年,and 120 years ago (辛丑年 too), The boxer Protocol did to China (now many, same countries, are trying hard to repeat the history, working on a Uyghur Protocol).

Here is a thought. US has Allies good form them (good for us). But
does China need Allies to get where they want to be. Let think about
this. Did Amazon got where they are by having Allies or just because
they have a lot of costumers who made Amazon their number one shopping
place. I am afraid China has figure this out long ago! They don't need
Allies they just need more countries (including all Major US allies) who
are their number one trading partners.

yes, it affect global stability, however it should be on US side not at the China side. US and UK are the two world best healthy standard, yet the COVID 19 standard also top the world, does this represent world democracy standard?

After four years of embarrassment brought by the trump administrators to the world, I'm not expecting too much from it.
