I usually add the reverb to a seperate channel and sidechain the vocals to it so it doesn’t make the lead muddy or takes away from it. I do this with delay, saturation, flanger, chorus etc. as well so you can control how much of it comes through the mix

Everyone's a teacher. You shouldn't just slap on auto tune. EQ is going to vary based on the mic, how it was tracked and the singer. Reverb time and type depends on the song. Please everyone just STOP.
