You can't turn away..your eyes cannot leave the pool..nothing is more urgent than keeping a 2 year old safe in the pool. Glad the sister screamed and alerted you back to the pool..

I have a 2 year old grandson. Even with a life vest one we do NOT leave him unattended for even a second in our pool. Never ever!

Even if your kid is being safe, it only takes an instant that another child or panicked person can pull them under. We have to constantly watch. Glad she’s ok! ❤

You really do have to keep your eyes, heart, and hands glued to them. I was in a 3 feet pool with my 4 years old niece when she slipped from a floating device, got her feet stuck in it, and was immersed in water. Furthermore she panicked as anyone would have…which made it a more traumatizing experience for her. All I did was turn around in the pool and she screamed for my name right behind me. I was with her the whole time. All it takes is for you to blink. Never turn away from a child in a swimming pool. They’re clumsy little people & water is unforgiving.

U dont leave a 2 year old in the pool to be supervised by a 10 year old. Adults need to always be next to their babies.
