This looks like a beautiful show with an amazing cast. I was tearing up just over this trailer. I love that its a "remake." Some of the best shows are remakes and have come from OG British and Australian shows (e.g. The Office; Shameless). They always end up being their own kind of special. This show will have its personal touch of emotion, its own sense of magic regardless of the story that preceded it. That is what great television and entertainment is about. Putting a special creative mark on something. With a cast and production team (they proved themselves w/ FNL and Parenthood) of this caliber, I trust they will place that mark.

Australia did a series called Sisters back in 2017 which is this exact same story.

knowing how close some of the details of this are to actual events, where a fertility doctor violated the trust of many many patients. Seeing it made into feel-good movie feels super icky. Im pretty sure none of that particular predators victims felt much of that time in their life would make for a heart warming tv series.
