As a person who is thinking about getting a "Gopro" style camera. This video peaked my interest, and also helped me make up my mind. I believe I have been persuaded to lean towards the Activeon and not the gopro. Thanks for the video.

if you go to the activeon site they are actually coming out with a external mic you can plug in to the usb port check it out and hoefully you could do a review on the quality of the mic kinda curiouse if its worth the buy!

I was afraid the quality wouldn't be great because of the low price. One thing I would have liked to see in your review is side by side comparisons of video quality in low light, and side by side comparisons of the audio quality. I have a CX Gold and it has been left in my truck for almost 2 months untouched. It has been deep frozen a few times, the coldest been almost -20 Celsius. I just brought it inside and turned it on and was surprised to find the battery was still 100%! I used it and got over an hour and a half before I had to charge it again.

Well done with the production value!

For the record, I own an ActiveOn CX and its a great little camera, for the price.

You hit one detail on the head, "action cams" can easily be lost or damaged due to the very nature of their use.
For that reason, it better to lose a $100 ActiveOn as opposed to a much more expensive GoPro.

FYI; I own 4 different action cams including a Polaroid XS-100i and a 4K Sports Cam which has no brand name.
Out of all of them, the ActiveOn CX has the best quality audio & video.

By the way, for anyone who is creating multi-camera videos of sports, you're going to record audio with a external high quality sound recorder.
That simply means the audio from the action cam is only needed you sync up the video in the editing process. Action cams are never going to record high quality sound, its the nature of the beast.

I use the activeon alot. I have 3 for my drag bike. I have had one mount come loose and lost a camera at triple digits. Went back in the daytime and found it. Still works had one crack on the waterproof case.

What is the max size of SD card these will use? I read somewhere that is it was 32gb, but the Activeon site doesn't say anything about mam size

I have found I only get about 30-40 mins of recording (activeon) with the internal battery even at fully charged. Is there a setting I should be turning off?

Thanks guys. Just bought an Activeon Cx and must say it's great quality. I actually purchased it for $99 Canadian and it came with two Batteries. You can't loose with a deal like that.
