$37 GoPro Alternative? Is it any good? Activeon CX

I was able to pick up this Activeon CX action camera for only $37
It supports a max resolution of 1080P @ 30 fps, and 720P @ 60fps but I was quickly reminded that these are just numbers, and not all 1080p is created equal.

Id say it's works better underwater than it does above water under water it's like Crystal clear

Battery life is abysmal, maybe 15 minutes in the cold (skiing, snowmobiles), when I took it underwater (in its special case) it kept changing modes, resolutions etc. No sign of water intrusion. Weird, I never figured it out. Whole thing soured me on action cams, think I'll just use a an old cell phone instead.

Don’t buy. I paid $150 for it in 2016 and it is the most otter trash I’ve seen. Even those fake sjcam clones are better
