Interesting, I often do landscaping and I'm always grateful to see my dragonfly friends. They always protect me from all sorts of biting insects

A real dragon fly will scare away mosquitoes because of the sound that the dragon fly wings make.

On this topic, I work at Walmart and one time I had a guy come through my checkout lane with a hat covered in bugs. I was confused and asked him to explain and he said he worked outdoors for a living and had found that if you staple a section of fly tape to the top of your hat, the deer flies (which are predatorial and land on the highest point of the creature first to pick their target biting spot) will land there and get stuck. He said he almost never got bit!

You could put it on the dogs collar or put a harness on the dog and put it on that haha
