In this video I share a game dev secret about preventing players from "time cheating" in your game. I found out about this gamedev secret a while ago and thought it would be interesting to share. you should add a new type of weapon called a “unique” they are harder to get and have unique abilities, like for example the storm breaker, it would be thrown then ricochet off other boxes, or a zombie staff where a zombie spawns from the bottom of the screen and shoots up with a gun.

Also it's funny how you used the Among Us thing in the intro, because they don't do this for the april fool's map (which makes for some hilarious interactions...)

when I was like 8 there was a game and one of the parts of the game you had to change your time to progress further(like in calendar or smth)

My idea is a little game, where you play against an other person online, and the one who broke/shot the most boxes wins.

Make a punishment lol. If you can somehow make the game detect your device time is WAY further than any time, then the player gets a gun named "m" that just launches an "M" and does 0 damage💀

You also just make a checkpoint system that checks when the user exits the game and/or a background timer where you compares and subtract two different checkpoints/time to each other. If the time of the previous doesn't match the time of the new checkpoint—in comparison to the background timer, then simply make the game go back to the previous checkpoint. But then that requires the game to run in the background. Or you can also just make the daily rewards and time rewards just claimable online just like the ad rewards instead of the whole game.
