Could the Gulf Stream Collapse?

One of the more troubling items in the recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has to do with the Gulf Stream. Scientists have observed that the system, which carries warm temperatures from the equator to the northern hemisphere, may be degrading. If the Gulf Stream were to collapse, it would “throw weather systems completely off-kilter,” CBS News Meteorologist and Climate Specialist Jeff Berardelli told Inside Edition Digital. #InsideEdition
