My guess on why she keeps going into the water is because it probably gives her a natural lubricant. It probably helps move the food down faster

They eat underwater cause usually their meal is so big that it's almost impossible for them to eat it dry. Plus it reduces the internal stress on organs since they eat such big meals.

I think one of the reasons they go in to water with bigger prey is the ease of movement and buoyancy, since they're not fighting gravity in the same way as on land leading to them being able to fully use their elasticity to swallow. Maybe even water has a lubrication function as well?

I don’t even like snakes and they scare the hell out of me but I love watching your videos. Also I’m in love with Ivy. She’s the only reason I watch besides to learn about things I don’t know about. Ivy really shows how snakes are so smart and have their own personalities

I don't particularly like snakes. But it was so sweet how much he was worried about his snake IV. The way he talked about her and worried about her eating underwater and maybe drowning or whatever could happen to a snake I don't know it was just the sweetest thing almost like he was talking about his child or a daughter it was the sweetest thing I've ever seen
