🐷 The only part of Rachel's meal that won't get digested is the pig's hooves and hair.

Wow I never knew that they pushed their windpipes aside, but I always did wonder how they could breathe while swallowing something so large!

I have a 17' reticulated python myself. They won't always dart at dead prey. Last time I fed mine, she knew it was dead and she gently took it from me.

I'm nearly surprised that the python could constrict so quickly, it was around the pig in a flash.

That was so amazing to watch when she was breathing as she's consuming. Incredible

At the 2:53 mark, it looks like he's about throw a hadouken fireball like on Street Fighter.

Who is this guy! He’s awesome! He explained the whole process really well. Because there were so many questions I had and my mind and they got answered throughout this video hahaha

That’s probably the closest thing to me being able to see an actual python constrict its prey. I’ve never seen it in real life.

Was half-expecting the python to let out a burp in the end

That response, from a python, is unbelievable! That thing was looking for a fight

Im surprised you guys didn’t mention the raw reset. I love when my python gives a big stretch after a big meal and i can always see it coming because his jaw is out of place until he does this and wiggles it back

I LOVE these snakes. I know that the Cobra is the genius in the snake world but these guys are very close. I have a male and the bond you can form with these animals once you gain their trust and respect is just awesome. Rachel is beautiful. ❤️

Ok I am not a big fan of snakes but it's good to know that she is going to safely survive for another 6 months from now ❤️

This was a great change from watching Kevin the cobra eat pythons on Chandlers wildlife

Always surprised me the fact that developing such a way to eat was naturally selected by nature; I guess the snake is extremely vulnerable for days or even weeks to incoming predators isn't it? How on Earth can a snake survive in the wild being so vulnerable for such a long time to things like eagles or whatever?

Shes beautiful! My two royal pythons prefer to eat without me hanging around closely, so I've never gotten to see the windpipe so close during a feeding, very cool. I hope more people learn to love and appreciate snakes for the evolutionary marvels that they are 🙏🐍
