I love this game, its so much fun!
I love all the trees but i personally play as Might/Sorcery when i'm not sticking to a certain path for the 'lore' of my characters.
and Detect Hidden are my favourite skills.
My favourite weapon would have to be Greatsword with Chakrams coming in second.

There's no reason, not to use Chakrams. Massive DPS, cause it fast & multi hits targets, basically AoE damage, long range & can't be blocked. There are these big Oger dudes with shields. You can't hit them from the front with any "melee" weapon.
They just block & stagger you. But the Chakrams phase through them, then hit them from he back as they return to you.
They'll go down in mere seconds. A sorc of course, drops a bomb of fire & hell upon them, and be done...

I use Might-Finesse. (Greatsword and Daggers), because then I can do massive damage, but also do quick attacks or do backstabs.

Your second build is similar to mine. I use finesse except archery and put enough points in sorcery to enhance the chakrams. I start combat with chakrams and finish with Fae blades. Lots of fun!

If you put all the points into archery, the bow becomes so OP. You get 10 shots before a reload and each charge shot shoots 7 charged arrows. Shoot at point blank and the arrows combined faceroll everything

I really like this game. Ive only recently started playing but I play as a full sorcerer build. Its neat to see what other builds you have and the combos you can pull off. Ill be looking forward to future videos.

Yeah when you have points in weapon attributes, it increases the damage of any weapon that falls into that category. Demon horns are Faeblades so if you put points into faeblade mastery it increases your damage with the demon horns

The Sorcery Destiny is the best. It has just enough points to use the top tier spells, but spares enough points to meet the equip requirements for Prismere or Dreadscale armor, and the defense more than makes up for doing 5% less elemental damage (Sorcerer has 45% elemental damage, Archmage has 50% elemental damage). Sorcerer is better than Archmage, and Paragon and Spellcloak are better than Champion and Shadowcaster for similar reasons. It's end-game stuff, but try it anyway; one can have all the quirks of tanky or speedy gameplay while still having the option to nuke everything just because. It's actually quite disgusting.

this game has one of the best class/multi classing system ive ever seen. i would want to try a universalist build eventually once i get a better grasp of all 3 trees.

my build:
pure might actually..
use lifedrinker and longsword ( but cant remember the name )
my tactic:
use quake to ( hopefully ) stun trolls, big monsters etc.
use harpoon to ether pull enemy to me or drag myself to the big enemy.
allows have battle frenzy active, ( this helps a lot for damage output )
use longsword for quick hits.
barral roll and knock enemies back with life drinker :)
this works very well i find.
(Also when in crowds of enemies i tend to use wrath)
max hit with wrath: 1, 135

By the way, I would highly recommend utilizing the stun potential that a "universalist" build has. Concussive force is a fantastic ability, and if you actually are a universalist you should be using every possible ability that is associated with stun, like bulwark. With an easily achieved +2 to all skills (with epic gem and factions complete), it gives an extra 120% dmg to stunned enemies. Storm bolt with chain lightning is a must.

After replaying the game several times Universalist tries to be too many things at once and kinda suffers for it. The bonus skill points and the lowered equip requirements are the main reason to use it because in battle its weaker than a lot of other options. For example full tree builds will get access to tier 4 skills much earlier so things so sorcery gets Embolden (mark of flame upgrade)

Having to only put skils to 7 to be maxed out though is obviously good

@TheMarksman0G The Demon Horns just cause fire damage, but they also add quite a bit to your crit chance. I just use the doves wings because i can, and i prefer them. Everybody who plays this game has a different playstyle. It's like Skyrim, everybody plays differently.

planned to go finesse/sorc but i just loved finesse too much. Started with chakrams but prefer the speed of daggers and personally i'm actually a fan of the bows, the arrow rain (cant remember what its called) ability is nice to apply statuses to multiple enemies and can be quick fired to kill packs of weak enemies easily. I'd really love to see some end game content just to see what i'm in for since i'm only around level 20. Thanks for the great video, looking forward to more from you

@TheMarksman0G I have them, the only difference between the two is that the Dove's Wings has frost damage, and the Demons Horns only have better crit chance and damage with some fire damage added into their mix.

By the way, the amount of might/finesse/sorcery needed to wear and item also depends on the destiny card you have enabled.

finesse/sorcery.. lion claw faeblades, custom chakrams (like 200 damage, 100 fire damage per 7 seconds, etc (beast)) sorcery armour (mostly because it looks badass), points in finesse only faeblades and other stuff to unlock more faeblades stuff.. sorcery, all the magic spells, + chakrams
