What's New for 2023?
BMW has introduced the GoldPlay appearance package on sDrive28i and xDrive28i models of the X2 for 2023. This special-edition trim comes with the M Sport package, which includes a sport-tuned suspension with a lower ride height as well as a returned steering system, but the big difference is in the exterior styling. GoldPlay models are distinguished from other X2s with a more aggressive front end design and gold exterior trim accents. The X2 GoldPlay is available with your choice of San Remo Green, Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Storm Bay, or Skyscraper Grey paint.

It looks like my 2021 X2 m35i - no mention of basic safety equipment that's included on $20k usd cars., like side collision detection which is desperately needed as this car has, The blind spots are unacceptably large. If NHTSA, in the USA wants to find another make to play with outside of their current American made attraction, , the x2 should be seriously looked at for inadquate saftey systems. This car should not be allowed on the roads without collision avoidance. It looks like it still isn't offered, even as an option, in 2023! The standard radio is not much better than a transistor radio Having to pay an additional $850 for an acceptable sound system it nuts. Thie Harman Kardon system is nothing like the one offered on the series 3. It's really what the base models should come with. There's no provision for a hitch receptor, nor is there anything offered aftermarket that can be purchased. IF you ride bikes your options are virtually nonexistent if you want to bring a bike with on a drive, you're probalby out of luck. . I'd be curious to find out what version of Iidrive BMW put int the x1 and x2s. The 2021s were running idrive 6 which couldn't be upgraded or updated. It seems like that's still the case or BMW would mention it. . As far as the 302 hp goes, . yes it is very quick, but It's hideously front-end biased and torque steer is outrageous.. They really haven't figured out how to harness torque steer. If you want 1st hand driving feedback, I'll be happy to supply it. It's over-rated, overpriced, and lacking basic safety systems, - before I forget BMW's active cruise control seems to be very fond of PHANTOM braking, and it's very slow to respond to traffic changes.
