Vital MTB testers and former professional DH racers, Jason Schroeder and Sean McClendon, tested and reviewed five downhill bikes over the summer, and now it’s time to see how they stack up against each other. We rode the trails at The Basin Gravity Park and Tamarack Resort in Idaho. #MTB #downhill #DH

I really love these tests. They're so honest, straight forward, and informative. Some of the best reviews out there.

I’ve had the most fun ever this season on that YT Comp. I’m more than pleased with my decision and have 0 regrets. The bike is an absolute performer as stated in the Vital review. I’m 6’ and ride an XL

From Rampage and other freeride events, the YT Tues looks to be the favoured freerider.

If you haven't already figured out the headset issue on the Canyon Sender 6, let me enlighten you. My brother purchased the bike earlier this year and for the first few rides experienced a lose and creaky headset. We retightened the headset as well as greased. The problem became acutely evident several rides later at the bike park as one of the PLASTIC headset spacers exploded. Take all the plastic headset spacers out and replace with aluminum or carbon and the stock headset is fine. I also double checked the Across headset on my Canyon 360 and sure enough they were plastic as well.

Absolutely loved watching summer of downhill guys! Great to see such an in depth review of these downhill bikes, Your reviews really helped my decision on my new DH bike, so thank you.

I think it's key to highlight the wheel difference when comparing prices. The Session is 29" (adjustable to 27.5") vs. the Sender is 27.5", and 29" tend to be more expensive. Great video and comparison.

Wait, they're still using zee brakes on bikes? I couldn't get a replacement lever assembly (stripped out the master cylinder)...had to upgrade to saint levers. I thought they were end-of-life?

Awesome review!! I went to Outerbike Crested Butte a few weeks ago and demo'ed a Tues Core 4 and fell in love with it enough to buy one haha! I'm 5'8 and demo'ed a size large frame. All my other bikes are size medium so I ordered a medium. After watching your review of the Comp, Im hoping I dont get it and wish I had gotten a size large.

Interesting that in the recent PB DH bike field test they hated the nicest of boxxers and vital even likes the boxxer select
