There was a time when I had a friendship like this and considered them my best friend. I've learned for myself and as a lesson that this is not friendship. At all. And now that it ended, I miss exactly nothing in my life, I am just sad about memories that are years back anyways.

I message my best friend every day 😂 Been friends for about 15 years since basic training. Did two deployments together in Afghan, and became private security contractors after. We basically only see each other when we’re working in foreign countries 😂

That sounds like a really sad relationship. I call my best friend whenever and she calls me whenever. If it’s not a good time, we both know that the other won’t answer. I know what she does for work and she knows what I do for work. We also like a lot of the same things.
