Okay, I have finally decided. If I ever get married, I want this to be the song as I walk down the aisle. I don’t want a romantic wedding, I want a holy matrimony. This song will be a reminder that I will never be in debt to my partner nor he is to me, but to God alone. He may bless us with decades, years, months or even just days together, but our hearts will always belong to God. I don’t want the attention to focus on the bride because sometimes that could trigger boastfulness or envy to other, I want the people to be inspired and feel the presence of the Lord. Even though this is every woman’s most important day of her life, for me this will be the perfect time to practice humility. Weddings should not be the bride’s day, but the Lord’s.
