You’re very adept in breaking down technical stuff to laymen or newbies in photography. I pick #2, love the one that captures an object or person with depth of field...or maybe 3. Thanks

Im currently thinking of buying the 18-135mm stm lens for my canon t5i. I shoot mainly sports and promotional videos. I like how it can go from wide to telephoto all in one lens. But the 3.5 aperture is whats holding me back. Do you think I should go ahead an buy or do you recommend a better option out there? I use the standard kit lens so I dreadfully need to upgrade as I think I’ve been holding-it off for too long.

that's exactly the kind of stuff i was just looking up yesterday, and since I like your video style this is a god send. thanks bub.

I started with canon 2000D with 18-55mm. Then added 70-200mm. Found out it was annoying to switch all the time. So I ended up getting the Tamron 16-300mm f3.5-6.3. Great allround travel lens 😊 3 years later, now rocking the Olympus m1 mark ii with 12-100mm f4 pro and 60mm f2.8 macro lens 😊 24-200mm and 120mm ff Equivalent 😊

What lenses are you currently using? What lenses are you considering buying?

For Canon ef 35mm f2 and ef 85mm 1.8. Add a 10-18mm ultra wide for caves and indoor.

Hi Mark i am going to Japan to be a ski instructor in 2 months and i am looking to buy my first "real" zoom lens. What would you recommend for me? I have had my Canon T7I (800d) for about 3 years now and i know my way around it pretty well (I shoot manual settings of course). I am going to mainly take photos and want only one lens. I have been looking at three lenses: Sigma 17-70/2, 8-4, Sigma 24-105/4, 0 and Canon 24-105/3, 5-5, 6. Perhaps the 17-70 is better because of the crop factor? Thank you in advance!

For a Sony a7iii, which one do you recommend? The Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 or the new Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 contemporary? Thank you.

What size for a fixed prime lens? I’ve got a Panasonic lumix g7 what would you recommend??

I'd like to point out that Nikon full frame lenses, will fit on a Nikon crop sensor camera without the use of an adapter.
They will they will increase the focal length by 1.5 times the length given on the lens. Canon lenses are not interchangeable however

Hey Mark, lovin' these vids! Thank you. Learning (and "liking") a lot! 😉 Quick question...you recommend the Canon 15-35mm & 12-35mm is several of your vids. How do they compare to say the Lumix 14-140mm in build quality (other than the obvious focal length)? Seems like the price difference between Lumix lenses and Canon is pretty substantial. Thanks!

Should throw the Industar in there for it's compactness and price =p
