Here is Something You Can Do TODAY to Help Eating Disorder Recovery with Just One Phone Call
Показать описание
Meet Mark Debofsky. He's the one who kicked off a bill in Illinois to mandate Illinois insurance companies cover eating disorder residential treatment. This bill, HB 1332, is sitting on the Governor’s desk right now. This bill mandates that insurance companies pay pay for eating disorder residential treatment in the same way that they pay for residential care for hip surgery. Mark DeBofsky read an article about Missouri passing a bill that mandated their state insurance agencies cover residential care for eating disorders, then reached out to the Missouri state legislators who sponsored this bill. Mark then got in touch with IL State Representative, Laura Fine, and IL State Senator, Julie Morrison to help support this bill. These two IL state legislators then helped push this bill through the IL
House of Representatives and the IL Senate.
Thank you, Mark DeBofsky, Illinois Representative, Laura Fine, and Illinois Senator, Julie Morrison for pushing bill HB1332 through the Illinois legislature and for fighting for eating disorder recovery.
