Was Jesus based on the god Serapis? Many on the internet seem to think so, and this video addresses this claim.

Serapis was not an Egyptian creation. Serapis was a Greek creation, created by Ptolemy, one of Alexander The Greek's Generals.

You mentioned anachronisms in the forged letter from Hadrian about Serapis, and that reminded me of how Wikipedia has a list of supposed anachronisms in the Book of Acts. Do you have plans on examining/debunking those claims? I feel that would be good for your series where you debunk each Bible contradiction.

Serapis is Osiris resurrected by merging with Apis. In the trinity form, Jesus would be more like Horus

I really do not understand these types of argument, It doesn't make sense from most polytheistic points of view, Only would make sense from a Christian point of view if they prioritized building bridges between pagans and or other religions and themselves. Finally from an Atheistic viewpoint, it makes the most sense but I don't understand why it would matter to them if the idea of Jeseus was wholly original or based off some other things they don't think exists.

One reason they say they look alike is because the later depictions of Jesus with the beard and cloak were different than the early depictions was often showed him as a shepherd with no beard and younger. So depicting him with a beard and a philosopher's cloak would fit better with the imagery of the times so while the two may not be the same person there's lots of reason to think that his depiction influenced the later depiction of Jesus.

Thanks for making this video. One of the biggest objections to Christianity that I heard was that Christians (supposedly) were worshipers of Serapis, over the years Jesus was invented by accident, so (supposedly) because of this, Nero could not have persecuted the Christians.

Jesus story was based on during the time of the Romans. Serapis was during the time of the Greeks. The Greeks existed before the Romans. Much of what is Roman came from Greek. Realize that Jesus Christ is a rework of Serapis. This is a proven fact. There's a huge difference between faith and facts or believing and knowing. The historical evidence of Jesus is a rework of an ancient African deity known as Osiris/Asar that was plagiarized as Serapis, and then much later reintroduced as Jesus in English.
